Yes I would like you too. Whatever you got really I'm willing to take. You can pm me with a list if it's bigger than what you listed. Sorry for the delay I was finishing up my diy glass tank there is a thread in the new tank section I'm about to upload the pictures Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'll bring you a piece of the chili pepper monti, war coral, and I can also bring a piece of the orange monti, and green monti. I think that's all I'll have time to round up in the morning.
On a lighter note, thanks to Chris and Amy for a wonderful time! The jelly's were awesome and the view inspirational! We HAVE to do that again!
We had a great time, as well! I really appreciated all the advice/thoughts on our tanks--loved having all the expertise right there. Wish y'all could've stayed longer--the clouds cleared up, and we had a gorgeous sunset.
Crap. I dipped everything together and put them in 3 different tanks. (Alyssa's zoas in her's, favia in the 125, my small zoa frag in Jen's. That favia is just a different colored War Coral right? It looks very similar to the War in Ty's tank.
This Chris and Amy for hosting the meeting. You both were great hosts, the food was awesome, and the jelly fish tank was something I had never seen. Also, that view! I dipped my corals when I got home. I did not notice any flatworms, but I already added the coral to the tank before reading the warning. So hopefully no problems. And I'm pretty sure that favia is a different colored war coral. Just by comparing it to my other war coral, it looks very similar to me.
Is there a certain name for the macro algae? I just like to read up on care of things. I've already put it in my display tank, and it looks really nice. Thanks for getting me a piece, and thanks Amy for the kenya coral.
I believe it is Gracilaria sp or Halymenia elongata. I have some other Gracilaria that looks similar but has a completely different texture. It too is in my display and sump but down in a corner.
Those of you that didn't get to make the meeting missed this beautiful view. This is the same view looking through the jelly fish tank. This is the zoas we had, if someone else can post a picture of their favia it would be great.
Looks dirty but I cleaned it right after I took the picture. [emoji13] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They did and are loving the tank I was surprised they opened so fast. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Hiya, Sorry I missed the meeting...looks like some nice corals were passed out. Beautiful view!!!! If I remember correctly, wasn't Linda to host the October meeting, or am I remembering that wrong. Kim/Benton, AR
