    ok i was at work (not working as usual ) and had a brain fart.

    someone please correct me...


    i just got an email from andrew @ bulkreef...


    they have empty RO/DI canisters for cheap... like $12 ...


    any reason you cant use this and make a calc or phos reactor?


    i mean to me the TFS cheapy reactor looks just like this with a small pump.'


    am i wrong??

    I don't see why it wouldn't work, if the inlet and outlet is big enough, I think they are normally 1/4". on the ro/di units

    I use the Kent reactors in my diy phos-carbon-sed filter 3 stage unit using a maxijet 1200 for flow. I think the di units may have a little too small tubing to be effective.

    There are several DIY instructions out there (I couldn't tell your where exactly) on doing just that. You just take it with you to HD or Lowes and sit in the floor in the plumbing section until something works.... [​IMG]
