I picked up a yellow sea cucumber from Calvin a few weeks back and it seems to have been doing pretty good. I noticed a few days ago that it started separating from itself in the middle. I had no idea that these guys did this. I assume it likes my tank, well enough to want to reproduce? How common is this in captivity and should I worry about them taking over too quickly?
Mine split after about a month. Both doing well. It second one quite some time before I saw its filters.
