These photos are not great, but wanted to get a shot of the coral in this state. It must be a male frogspawn!!
i was just reading a topic on frogspawn decease called red jelly decease i think. it said once it starts doing that then the head dies and it spreads to the next. im not sure if thats the case here but if it is you may want to prepare to frag the good heads before its too late.
i cannot find the exact thread but it was called brown jelly decease. hopefully yours is just a male lol
Those pictures were taken on 5-16-09. It is back to normal now. I just thought it was interesting on how one tentacle was elongated.
I believe the frogspawn was getting ready to "drop" a baby. many LPS will drop babies if conditions are right, instead of spawning with egg and sperm. my brains often drop new babies if theyre happy. mine has never done it but i could see it happening!
That is a neat picture. I know you said the Frogspawn is back to norman but did you determine that this was a tentecle that went hay wire for a baby drop?
