Thanks, Its been a fun project from start to now. One week from putting the icing on the cake too so its getting really tense this week to get all I can done. My goal was a plug and play system, where when its time for the big tank everything else would be already set up and going and off to a head start. I have some more to update this evening.
Even though things are going a lil slower now they are still happening. The following are a few pics of what was done over the past couple days. It’s a start. Everything will be finalized later. I am going to slowly move the under parts of my other tanks over this week. I have my canister filter and refugium off of my 75 and a pile of rocks and stuff under my 34.
Thought this was interesting too. I know the question was raised the other day in a conversation. This isnt even including rock weight. http://boonedocks.net/fishtank/ftweb.php
Awesome job thus far, babe! You have thoroughly impressed me! And we haven't killed each other yet! haha~ I cannot wait to see it up and running!
Okay.... I sent the addy to the people here too that mentioned they might want to come.. If I missed you let me know and I will send it to you.
Upand running... (and I just want to add that the system you hear running when I walk in the house is our current 75 on the wall behind me. The 250 is silent! ) [youtube:2shanuez]vS9CebnPzBk[/youtube:2shanuez]
Hey, how did you get thoes overflows silent. I've had a terrible time with it. Sounds like a toilet flushing...
I am thinking about cutting it off tonight and adding the sand. I cant make up my mind. I want to add what I have in my 75 but I cant do that until I tear it down. It will be today or tomorrow though.
Is the 75 where it overflows into the sump? If so could you not drill holes in the top of those orange elbows to fix the problem? Just a random thought, not even sure if that part is the noisy one.
